Where does my money go?
We're a team of 30+ people working hard to make this mod as fun as possible, but some cash to help hire people would be really appreciated. The mod itself is FREE, and all money received goes into hosting servers, web expenses, and paying the people we hire to make stuff for us only. If you're really interested in helping us finish this mod, then maybe consider throwing some cash our way. As rewards for your help, we'll give you an early look at the mod with access to our closed beta, and if you donate enough, we'll let you pick out your own player model for use only by you (see below for model restrictions). | Donating this much will get you a spot in the Jaykin' Bacon Episode 3 closed beta! Games are held most weeks and you will have a chance to try out new features before they are released! Be aware that due to recent Steam Pipe updates the mod is currently broken. We are doing what we can to fix this but we still have to wait until Valve release their planned SDK update before we can release any fixes. Once we release the fixed version, we are aiming on releasing the public beta ASAP. |

| You will be able to submit an existing Source engine model and a sound to be used as an exclusive player model & death sound. Submitted models will need to be already compatible as a player model (built upon the standard Valve skeleton, be relatively human shaped as to match our hitboxes) and the death sound should be no longer than a few seconds and not be extremely loud/annoying. Feel free to email jimbomcb@gmail.com if you want to check if a model will be compatible before donating. Models must not be copyrighted material, we want you to have your own model but we also don't want to get in trouble for using content from some big AAA games. |
